We follow, apply, and improve
Innovations in the field of digital printing appear daily, rapidly changing the printing industry. The expert team at Patrinus Digital closely monitors, studies, verifies, applies – and often improves them based on their own insights and vast experience – in order to offer their clients the best business solutions and save their time, money, and nerves.
Although no printing technology holds secrets from us, we highlight five that we focus on the most.
DTF printing
Technology similar to DTG printing. In DTF, the design is first printed onto a special film, which is then transferred onto the fabric. The main advantage of this printing method is its applicability to almost any fabric – polyester, cotton, silk, synthetic fibers…
DTG printing
A textile printing process using water-based ink technology. DTG printers typically feature a platen that holds the garment in a fixed position while the printhead applies or sprays ink onto the textile.
Solvent printing
Uses drying solvent-based inks for printing on substrates such as flexible vinyl, self-adhesive vinyl, and posters.
Sublimation printing
A digital printing technology that uses heat to transfer ink onto materials such as plastic, cardboard, paper, or fabric. The ink is first applied to a special transfer paper from which it is then transferred with a heat press onto the final material. In this way, the ink changes its state of matter, permanently bonding with the fibers of the target material.
UV printing
Uses ultraviolet light to cure ink during printing. As the printer's printhead applies ink across the surface of the material (substrate), special UV lamps follow the head, instantly curing the ink.
